First Time Freshman. 3 important things you will need as a Freshman, be a high school graduate, have a qualifiable eligibilty index, and complete the fifteen-unit comprehensive “a-g’ course pattern of college preparatory subject requirements with graded of C or better. The eligibility index is the combination of your high school grade point average and your test score on either the SAT or ACT. Your GPA will be looked at from the grades during the 10th through out 12th grades of college prep classes.

The fifteen-unit subject equirements are the basics. 2 years of History/Social Science(must include one year of US History and government), 4 years of English, 3 years of Mathematics(Algebra, Geometry, and Intermediate Algebra), 2 years of aboratory Science(One biological, one physical; both with a lab), 2 years of a foreign language(Subject to waiver; must demonstrate equivalent competence), 1 year of a Visual Performing Art(Must be a year long VPA course in a single area), 1 year of a college prep elective(selected from any a-g courses).
