There are many types of injustices our society has to face but one that affects us as a whole is terrorism. Countries and Civilians have witnessed terrorism throughout their lifetime. Terrorism is the use of violent acts to frighten people in an area as a way of try Yin to achieve a social or political goal. Terrorism affects everyone. It makes us feel unsafe an d doubt the protection from the national security, which is supposed to keep us safe and s secured. Terrorism even affects young children and those who witness or are exposed are at risk from experiencing mental health difficulties.

Unfortunately, Terrorism is an injustice that is Witt eased around the world and affects the people. Terrorism is witnessed and experienced in our lives and around the world an d it is clearly shown in the novel, The Book Thief. The novel is set before, during and after World War II. It focuses around the life of Lies, a young German girl who is taken away f room her mother, who is a communist, and sent to live with a German couple in Mulching, Germ many. An obvious example of terrorism that occurs in the novel is the “Night of broken glass” alls o known as Sarcastically.

On the night of November 9, 1939, Nazi soldiers rushed through the streets of Germany and break any windows they can find and plundered Jewish business sees. A major example of terrorism is the beliefs of an organization called t he League of Shadows. The League of Shadows is an organization that works to manipulate history and correct civilizations and facilitate their destruction.

The view of this league ha much in common with the Islamic terrorists who hate western culture and hope to ova return western dominance for a new and moral world order. Lat is unfortunate that a country like the United States can cause its o won terrorist attacks by having American troops in other countries around the world and always in transferring with them. There are many organizations in America that are trying to prevent terrorism. One major organization is the war on terror. This is an organization established by Preside .NET Bush’s administration after the 9/11 attacks.
