The purpose of this study is to identified the effects to their health and especially to their studies and to give realization to every students who can read this term paper. This study is important because it can help the college students not only the students but also the other people who involved in using alcohol and cigarette’s. He student’s or people who can read this paper will benefit cause they can pick some lessons in this term paper. This study focused on the ” Effects of Alcoholism and Smoking to the College Students There are 100 respondents involved. This study conducted at Cavity State University, Emus during the second semester, SYS: 2012-2013. This study used questionnaire in gathering data. The researcher chose this instruments because it’s easier to the college students to answer or express their answers or opinions. According to my survey, statement no. “Are you using alcohol and cigarette’s ? The highest answer is No , they did not use alcohol and cigarette’s, then the lowest is Yes, but the other students specify that they are using alcohol but not cigarette , then the others use cigarette but not alcohol. In statement no. 2 “If you are using , are you addicted to it ? The highest answer is No, they are not addicted to it , because they have a limitation on their selves, then the lowest is Yes and Sometimes because of peer pressure. In statement no. 3 “Did you use your allowance, just for your habit ?

The highest answer is No, hey are not using their allowance , only they extra money , then the lowest is Sometimes. In statement no. 4 ” In cigarette’s, how many sticks did you take ? The highest answer is None , they are not taking a cigarette , then the second is 1 to 3 sticks everyday and the lowest is 3 to 5 sticks. In statement no. 5 ” Are you willing to absent or cut your classes, just to drink alcohol with your friends ? The highest answer is No, they are not willing to do that , they Page 2 say that if only have a time or occasion , then the lowest is Sometimes. In statement no. ” Do you know that is bad to your health ? He highest answer is Yes, of course they know that is has a bad effects on their health. In statement no. 7 ” Are you not afraid in still using alcohol and cigarette’s ? The highest answer is No, they are not afraid , then the lower is Yes , of course they are afraid in using alcohol and cigarette , then the lowest is Maybe. In statement no 8-10 , ” Why do you think the students use alcohol and cigarette’s ? , What do you think is the negative effects Of alcohol and smoking ? , and Do you know the effect of alcohol and smoking to your studies ? They have their own answers , explanation and opinions. In no. 8 , they say that they used that , just for fun , past time , social appearance peer pressure , because of influence of friends , or they have a problem or stress , just to be look cool , because of curiosity , there’s a lot of reasons why they are using alcohol and cigarette’s , whatever it is , it’s just simple that they are used that because they want it. In statement no. 9 and 10 , of course they know that is has a negative effects on their health and to their studies.

In health , some of the answers say that , using alcohol and cigarette’s can cause illness such as , lung and liver cancer. It can destroy their body and worst their Page 3 life if they continue using that even they know it has a negative effects. In studies , it can cause a failing grade , know why? Because if you follow your habit , time comes that you will willing to absent , cut your classes , use your allowance just to take that , you will have no time to make your homework , projects or even activities and the result , failing grade . In statement no. 2, 45 respondents chose NO, and 3 respondents chose YES , and 2 respondents chose SOMETIMES. In statement no. 3, 43 respondents chose NO, and 7 respondents chose SOMETIMES. In statement no. 4, 42 respondents chose NONE , they are not using cigarette , and 6 respondents chose 1 to 3 sticks a day , and 2 respondents chose 3 to 5 sticks a day.

In statement no. 5, 43 respondents chose NO, and 7 respondents chose SOMETIMES. In statement no. 6, 45 respondents chose YES, and 5 respondents chose NO. In statement no. , most of the respondents chose No , they are not addicted to it. In statement no. 3 , most of the respondents chose NO, means they are not willing to use their allowance just for their habit. In statement no. 4 , most of the respondents hose NONE , it means they are not using a cigarette. In statement no. 5 , most of the respondents chose NO, they are not willing to absent or cut their classes just to have fun with their friends. In statement no. 6 , most of the respondents chose YES , it means they know that it has a bad effects on their health.
