Through the use of social media, people can exchange photos and videos, share news stories, post their thoughts on blobs, and participate in online discussions.
Social media also allow individuals, companies, organizations, governments, and the citizens to interact with large numbers of people. In conjunction with the increase in online activity, there are concerns about the ways in which the personal information that is shared by social media users may be collected and analyzed. What is the essence of studying the Effects of Social Media to the students of Tibetan Integrated School? 4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY Why do we really need to study this topic? First things first, do Social Media is really important to people? For us, it is usual to see students logging in on their Backbone before doing their assignments. It is usual to see students playing DATA and League of the Legends before doing their projects.
Sad to say that students have time to playing Online Games and logging in on their favorite Social Networking Sites, but they are lack of time doing the household choirs and reviewing their lessons. This study is so important because it will tell us do really Social Media help us or destroy us especially he students of Tibetan Integrated School and other students of different schools nationwide and worldwide. “Just live the life to the fullest” 5 DEFINITION OF TERMS SOCIAL MEDIA- refers to a websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking.

REVIEW ON RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES The review of the literature for this study focuses on how the Social Media affects the young ages like us and the people worldwide who use it. Based on Mr.. Paul Isakson (2009), he says that 2 out of 3 of Global Internet Population visit Social Networks and he says that the people’s behaviors nowadays are changing. “A revolution doesn’t happen when a society adopts new tools. It happens when society adopts new behaviors… ” Mr.. Clay Shirks said.
Actually he is truly right, the changes on the people’s behavior nowadays is because the new way of saying what they are feeling and Mr.. Clay Shirks said that a new revolution is in process. Actually base on our survey 10 out 10 said that they log in on their Backbone, Twitter or other Social Networking Sites before doing their projects or assignments. Social Media has its big role in the different lives on the students of Tibetan Integrated School. 8 CHAPTER 3 METHODS AND PROCEDURES This chapter briefly presents the different methods and procedures used by the researchers in doing our investigations.
It consists of the instruments used in this research and gathering data, as well as the statistical tools used in processing and analyzing data. Research Method This study utilized the descriptive co relational design. Sanchez (1998) state that descriptive research includes all studies that purport to present facts concerning the nature and status of anything. INSTRUMENTATION We researchers gathered data by making a survey on the students Of Tibetan Integrated School.
And by the surveys, we have done, we can more analyze the effects of Social Media to the students of Tibetan Integrated School. Data Processing and Analysis The data gathered were being tallied, tabulated analyzed and interpreted. We survey 30 students of Tibetan Integrated School and these are the exults: 9 out of 10 students said that they log in first to their Social Media Accounts before doing their projects and assignments We ask them by making a survey questionnaire and it contains questions like this: Do you have Social Media accounts?
Do you log in first on your Social Media accounts before dinosaur assignments and projects? Why do you use Social Media? Therefore, we can say that Social Media really affects our students and if we are the one who is been asked and to be honest we also log in on our Factor, Twitter, Tumble and other Social Media accounts before doing on our assignments. We can also say that the students of Tibetan Integrated School are on focus of doing things that they’ll be more socialized.
Nowadays, the students of Tibetan Integrated School are being lazy on doing their assignments and they prioritize to update their status and to have selfish And their answers on the question why do you use Social 9 Media are all the same, they say that they use Social Media to be socialized, to be update on what’s going on, to have fun and to communicate their loved ones that are in other countries. Based on Maybes Tabor (Grade VIII Student), she doesn’t find Social Media useful because the information in the Social Media isn’t true or fact.
