Some of the borders with major tensions were the border between Iraq and K await, and, Sad and Israel. Big groups involved in this big war/ conflict are Iraq, The US, Israel, Sad, and the Kuwait rebels (Sunnis and Shih). The US and the UN got involved because Sad was trying to launch missile s at Israel, but the US and the UN pledged to protect Israel. That war lasted for and while, an d after that war, it started even more wars which we are still fighting today. Slide 5 Iraq’s relationship with its neighbors was different, Iraq claimed that Kuwait was their property. So they were kind of friends. Iraq’s relationship with US and the UN were that they were enemies and they didn’t like each other. The Bush Administration was made to protect some of the countries because Iraq invaded Kuwait. They basically considered trying to stop Iraq for good. The effects of the gulf war were that some industries were hard hit.
