The New Food System
As we have learned, there are many problems with our food system. People believe we are killing ourselves by using all these things inside of our food. People also believe many of our crops are dangerous because they still have insecticides in them, which can be poisonous to the human body. There are critics and there are problem solvers. Then there are people that have problems with the solutions that we come up with and believe they have better ideas. Instead of dealing with all of that, I am going to create my own food system.
Now, to solve the problem with the overweight /unhealthy children in schools, I think we need to make the lunches taste really good, but is actually really healthy for you. I think it would also be cool if the school could provide us with full course meals instead of processed food. It would be much better too. I also think we need to stop using pink slime for stuff. I think that is just disgusting how they use it for food that we consume. There has to be more quality in our food for a cheaper price. We also have to stop advertising so much for fast food because its just making people unhealthy. This is basically going to affect all of us in the future. I really don’t want to grow up and see almost everyone is obese or has diabetes. I also believe we must encourage the citizens to start growing their own food. It would save them money too. We can also encourage many citizens to go a vegan diet, because plants are better for you and we can show the public the positive effects of going on a vegan diet.
We have to change the way we dispose of food too. I think it is interesting how there are 500 million people starving, yet there is over 1 billion people that are overweight. People aren’t just greedy with money, but with food too. If we had all the food that business and people threw away, yet it was still good, we could feed those starving people. I also believe…
