Vocabulary 1. Hemisphere- the 4 halves the earth is divided into
2. Continent- one of the seven landmasses of the globe
3. Ocean- a body of salt water that covers most of the earth
4. Longitude- the east and west hemispheres near the equator
5. Latitude- the north and south hemispheres also known as the north and south pole
